Hemorrhoids and toenail fungus are viewed more favorably than the United States Congress, according to a new poll released today.The government shutdown and battle over the debt ceiling are taking a toll on the public image of the legislative body.The poll of 502 registered voters was released Tuesday by Public Policy Polling.Congress had a dismal 8 percent approval rating."Congress having an 8% approval rating tells us one thing about how unhappy voters are," said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling.
