      Tulsa Police: 13-year-old Girl Holds Up Man at Knife Point, Steals Vehicle

      A 13-year-old girl was taken into custody after a carjacking incident that took place at a QuikTrip near 31st and Sheridan.

      Police allege that the young girl went to the convenience store and held up a man at knife point. At the same time she demanded the vehicle he was driving.

      Reports state that the young girl got into the vehicle and left the scene. Police were called on scene and were then involved in a chase with the girl.

      It wasn't until after the girl sped down Sheridan and crashed into another car at Admiral that police were able to catch up to her. Initial reports state that she was going around 70 miles per hour.

      Police told KTUL that the vehicle the juvenile female struck suffered a total loss but no one inside the car was injured. The girl was also unharmed.

      The girl already had a juvenile warrant out for her arrest, reported Dodd.

      No other injuries were reported during the event.
