Tulsa Police have identified the suspect in the Thursday north Tulsa shooting that injured one man.
A 40-year-old man was transported to an area hospital after being shot in the shoulder in an area of north Tulsa. Tulsa Police stated that the victim was shot in the shoulder after driving in the area of Pine and Utica.
Patrol officers reportedly were able to locate the location of the shooting and found shell casings of an undisclosed caliber near 1700 E. Pine street.
Further investigation from officers resulted with the recovery of a rifle from an apartment at that location. With cooperation from the people living in the apartment, the 16-year-old suspect was returned to the apartment and arrested.
Tulsa Police stated that the investigation is ongoing and there is a possibility for more suspects and victims as the investigation continues.
Witnesses told KTUL that shots had been fired at their vehicles in the same area. One couple stated that they had been working inside their business when they heard loud noises outside and a bullet hole in their vehicle.
