2014 Elite 8 Ford Award Players of the Year

Broken Arrow's Toree Thompson is the 2014 Girls Elite 8 Ford Award Player of the Year. She was second in Class 6A in scoring with just under 22 points a game. She led the Lady Tigers to the state championship and an undefeated season. Toree is a 2-time Elite 8 nominee and will play for the Ole Miss Rebels next year.Shake Milton of Owasso took home the boys player of the year honors. He's just the third junior to win the Elite 8. He led Class 6A in scoring with close to 28 points a game.

Shake helped the Rams reach the state tournament this season and Owasso fans are glad to have him back next year. Here's a look at our past winners:
