A magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck one mile east of Choctaw this afternoon.
The earthquake had a depth of 6.2 miles, the U.S. Geological Survey reports. The quake was reported at 2:54 p.m. Sunday.
A smaller earthquake hit the same area Sunday morning. That earthquake's magnitude was 2.7 and its depth was 3.7 miles.
