A week from today, the USA Men's National Volleyball Team will entertain Brazil, the No. 1 ranked team in the World at Tulsa's Reynolds Center in the 2011 FIVB Bama World League Tournament.The teams will play two matches, one on Friday, June 24th and the next on June 25th. Both matches will begin at 7 p.m. at the Reynolds Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.The United States is the defending Olympic champion, having defeated Brazil in the 2008 games in Beijing. Team USA is ranked fifth in the World and will arrive in Tulsa Wednesday, June 22nd.Brazil will arrive a day earlier. They have won the last two World League titles and nine overall. They also won the 2010 World Championship.The two matches in Tulsa are part of the Intercontinental Round of the FIVB World League Tournament that will continue through July third.The International Volleyball Federation says, with an estimated 29-million people in the U.S. playing either indoor or beach volleyball, the sport is second only to basketball in popularity.Tickets for the matches in Tulsa range from 8 to 20 dollars and can be purchased at www.tulsahurricane.com or at the University of Tulsa box office inside the Reynolds Center between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
