An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing Friday morning after reportedly hitting a bird.
Airport officials were notified of the emergency landing after 10:30 a.m. It was bound for Dallas/Fort Worth and returned to Tulsa International Airport around 11 a.m.
A spokesperson for American Airlines told KTUL that the flight was forced to make an emergency landing to inspect the aircraft for a "possible bird strike."
No injuries were reported at the time of the incident. All 182 passengers and 7 crew were safely taken off the plane.
