Another Earthquake Rattles Central Oklahoma
SPENCER, Okla. —
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 4.1 magnitude earthquake near Spencer shortly before 6:00 Wednesday morning.
There were no reports of any damage.
On Monday, a 4.3 magnitude quake shook the ground near Jones which is northeast of Spencer. People as far away as Tahlequah reported feeling that one. The recent swarm of earthquakes has prompted a town hall meeting set for next Thursday in Edmond to talk about the problem. Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak will be there to answer questions about earthquake insurance
