UPDATE: Feds Say No Boston Bombing Suspect in Custody

Federal officials are denying reports that an arrest has been made in the Boston Marathon bombings.

Several media outlets have reported that anonymous sources were saying an arrest was being made in explosions that killed three people and wounded more than 170 on Monday.

Since then, federal officials have announced a suspect is not yet in custody.

Law enforcement agencies had earlier pleaded for the public to come forward with photos, videos or any information that might help them solve the bombings.

Investigators circulated information about the bombs, which involved kitchen pressure cookers packed with explosives, nails and other lethal shrapnel. But the FBI said nobody had claimed responsibility.
