Le Flore County deputies captured an inmate over the weekend who escaped from a minimum security prison in eastern Oklahoma.Authorities captured Curtis Edward Gibson on Sunday in the unincorporated Summerfield area. Fort Smith, Ark., television station KHBS (http://bit.ly/11tdEiV ) reports that authorities found Gibson looking for food in a trash bin. Deputies announced last week that Gibson was discovered missing during a headcount July 1 at the Jim Hamilton Correctional Center. Officials say Gibson was serving time out of Oklahoma County on a conviction of failure to comply with sex offender registration. Oklahoma Department of Corrections records state that he was incarcerated for the following charges: - Rape in the first degree - Domestic abuse - Assault and battery on a police officer - Bail jumpingGibson is now waiting to be transferred back to Oklahoma.
