Mayor Dewey Bartlett discussed Tulsa's economic future during a keynote address Wednesday morning.
Bartlett focused on Tulsa's economic growth and development during an event with members of the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors. It's took place Wednesday morning at the Renaissance Hotel in south Tulsa.
A release from the event states that among the topics will be the new Macy's distribution plant that was announced in the northern area of Tulsa County.
After winning a second term as mayor in November, Bartlett has had to deal with various budget issues at City Hall, including navigating what could be a $10 million revenue shortfall and the possibility of layoffs to make economic ends meet.
City department heads have already been instructed to find efficiencies in an effort to address budget issues.
