Being An Underdog Motivates The Sooners
There haven't been too many times since Bob Stoops arrived in Norman 15-years ago that the Sooners have been considered underdogs. But when they face the two-time defending National Champs in the Sugar Bowl they will be 15 point underdogs to Alabama.
Owasso native Aaron Colvin says it makes him hungry to prove the doubters wrong. "We've kind of been going through that a lot this year. A lot of teams we've played we've been ruled out of not winner." said OU Senior Cornerback Aaron Colvin, "I mean Oklahoma State, I'm sure everyone picked us to lose that game as well. We don't get affected by that. I think we actually enjoy that a little bit. Just being the underdog and having everyone against us. I know I do personally and I know a lot of my brothers do as well. I know we'll relish the moment and go out and compete."The 11th-ranked Sooners will take on #3 Alabama on Thursday, January the 2nd in the Sugar Bowl. Kickoff is schedule for 7:30pm.
