Better Late Than Never: Thunder Rally To Beat Suns

The Oklahoma City Thunder rallied from 16 points down, handing the visiting Phoenix Suns a 115-104 defeat Wednesday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.The trio of Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant and James Harden each eclipsed 30 points scored to help the Thunder zip past the Suns, who had won three straight coming into the game.After falling behind 84-68 on lay-up by Jared Dudley with 4:13 left in the third quarter, the Thunder finished the period with a 16-4 run and vaulted into the lead on Durant's lay-up early in the fourth.Over the game's final 16 minutes, Oklahoma City outscored Phoenix 47-to-20 and with the win improved to 31-and-8.Westbrook scored 31 points and Durant and Harden each added 30 for the Thunder, who still hold a four and a half game lead over the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference.Serge Ibaka also had a big night, scoring 18 points and pulling down 20 rebounds and blocking three shots.Marcin Gortat led Phoenix with 28 points.Next up for the Thunder is a Friday home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
