Jenks Man Killed During Early Morning Shift

      A Jenks man was killed early Friday morning at a manufacturing plant in Sapulpa.

      Emergency crews were called on scene after 3 a.m. to Paragon Industries located at 3300 block of W. SH 117.

      At the scene they discovered that an employee, identified as William Miller, had been killed during an early morning shift.

      A statement from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol states that another employee, Justin Simmons, was driving a forklift at the time to pick up some pipe.Miller attempted to jump onto the forklift, slipped and fell.

      "[Miller] was struck by the back driver's side tire," the release described.

      Authorities added the Miller died at the scene from his injuries. He was 20-years-old.
