Broken Arrow Hospital Ceases Operations Due to Water Emergency
Hospital officials have announced Wednesday afternoon that St. John's in Broken Arrow will discontinue operations due to the water emergency.A spokesperson for the hospital stated that due to the ongoing water issues in Broken Arrow, St. John will cease operations until further notice. This stems from the water emergency city officials declared Tuesday morning following a water main break.RELATED: Health Dept. Orders Broken Arrow Restaurants to Shut DownAccording to the release, patients and staff have been utilizing bottled water and a backup water supply as a preventative measure. "Until the situation is resolved, patients currently receiving care at St. John Broken Arrow will be transferred in a coordinated matter."Officials stated that the patients being transferred will be moved to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa and St. John Owasso.More information about the hospital will be provided once it becomes available.
