Broken Arrow Teen Charged in Cross Country Runner Accident

A Broken Arrow man was charged after hitting a 15-year-old student and leaving the scene in January.

According to online court records, 18-year-old Jordan Hunter was charged for a felony count of leaving the scene of an accident involving an injury.

15-year-old Logan Henry, a cross country student for North Intermediate High School, was hit by a blue pickup driven by Hunter.

Hunter left the scene and later returned to the scene, telling police he was the one responsible. BAPD said Hunter reportedly told his mother what happened and she followed him back to the scene of the accident.

Hunter had left the scene for 10 minutes.

Henry was in the ICU for a broken leg and pelvis.
