Voluntary water restrictions have been lifted in Broken Arrow Friday morning. A 24-inch water main busted in the area of 9th and Kenosha early Thursday morning, flooding streets and forcing city leaders to declare a water emergency and mandatory water rationing."We appreciate our residents and businesses assisting us through the conservation of water during the past twenty four hours, said Acting Director of Communications Norm Stephens. "We apologize for any inconvenience the citizens of Broken Arrow experienced during the repair of the broken water line." City pools and splash pads will open at their regularly scheduled times. Residents may return to their normal watering schedules, officials said in a release Friday morning.
