A burn ban is still in effect for a large portion of Oklahoma.
Grass fires across the state led to Gov. Mary Fallin declaring a statewide emergency earlier in the week to help the state acquire materials to combat the fiery conditions.
The burn ban is intended to get residents to avoid starting any fires while the ban is in effect.
