      Campus Lockdo Drunk Parent Tries to Barge Through Tulsa School Door

      A Tulsa elementary school was locked down briefly after a parent came to campus intoxicated, school officials said.

      Hoover Elementary School, 2327 S. Darlington Ave., was locked down after a parent was trying to barge through a cafeteria door.

      School administrators called police because they thought the parent was intoxicated and was trying to pick up his child, officials said.

      The lockdown was lifted before 9 a.m. after police arrived on campus.
