A two-year-old was killed Monday evening after being hit by a car in south Tulsa.
Emergency crews were sent to the 63rd and Peoria area after receiving word that three people had been hit by a vehicle. Those three individuals were the two-year-old and her parents.
Tulsa Police told KTUL that the individuals had been crossing the street when the unidentified driver hit them. They were leaving a nearby Warehouse Market during the time of the accident.
EMSA crews initially listed the child in "extremely critical condition." She later died at an area hospital.
Both parents remain in the hospital Tuesday. Police did not issue a citation for the driver involved in the accident.
An investigation continues this week.
