The coldest night of the season is on the way for Eastern Oklahoma as most temps will drop down into the low teens for overnight lows. A strong cold front will clear the area later this evening and temperatures will drop rapidly, as a result.
However, it won't last long. Temperatures will still be cool Friday afternoon, but afternoon highs will climb into the 50s by Saturday and Sunday.
Highs in the 60s will be possible early next week, with very little chances of rain until then.
