Authorities in Glenpool are investigating a late-night homicide that they say stemmed from a confrontation between two groups of people.
Glenpool Police Chief Dennis Waller tells KTUL.com, just before 10 o'clock, some sort of argument erupted between two groups in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Supercenter near 121st Street & Highway 75.
The confrontation then moved to the intersection of Yukon and Vancouver, that's where Waller says at some point, a "gun was produced and shots were fired, the victim was hit."
The state's bureau of investigation has been brought in to investigate. Spokesperson Jessica Brown said 32-year-old Mark Coble got to a car and was taken to a trailer park in Kiefer.
He was pronounced dead by medics at a home there.
Chief Waller says they're searching for three suspects believed to be white males in their 20's or 30's. He says they were driving a light blue four-door car.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting Glenpool Police with their investigation. If you have any information on this case you're asked to call the Glenpool Police Department at (918) 322-8110.
