Convenience Store Clerk Shot During Morning Robbery

Tulsa police are actively looking for a suspect who allegedly shot a convenience store clerk during a robbery at Corner Check Out near Pine and Lewis at approximately 7:15 a.m. this morning.

Police report the 30-year-old convenience store clerk was shot once in the right shoulder. A customer spotted the victim, who was lying on the floor of the store when the customer walked in. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

There was no one in the store at the time of the shooting, but police say it appears that the man who spotted the victim entered the store shortly after the shooting occurred.

The suspect was described as an adult black male with a purple hooding, green pants and slip-on shoes. He was wearing a mask during the incident.

Police are still searching for the suspect and believe the suspect left eastbound from the store.
