      Osage Chief Removed from Office

      A tribal court has made the decision to remove Osage Chief John Red Eagle this morning.

      The decision was made Tuesday morning in Pawhuska at the Osage Nation Tribal Court.

      Red Eagle faced several accusations among them misappropriation of funds and ethics complaints.

      KTUL reports that he is the first chief in Osage Nation history to be removed from his post.
