With the game tied 1-1 after 5 1/2 innings, back-to-back singles by Jared Womack and Zach Fish and a walk to Gabe Weidenaar loaded the bases with one out. Freshman Wes Jones then stepped to the plate and delivered a bases clearing double into the gap in left-center field to put the Cowboys up 4-1.{}Jones' hit ended the day for BGSU starter Ethan McKenney, but reliever Nick Bruns came out of the bullpen and promptly surrendered a two-run home run to Victor Romero. The blast was the first homer of Romero's OSU career and gave the Cowboys a five-run advantage.{}OSU's offensive outburst helped give starter Randy McCurry his first win of the season. The junior right-hander gave up 10 hits but allowed just two runs and struck out four to improve to 1-1 on the year.{}As they did in the first two games of the series, the Cowboys overcame a deficit to win.{}{}The Falcons took a 1-0 lead in the fourth on and RBI single by Andrew Kubuski, but in the bottom of the inning, Weidenaar connected on his second home run of the series, a solo shot that tied the score. The round tripper was OSU's first hit of the game.{}OSU returns to action Wednesday looking to extend its winning streak to six when the Cowboys host Missouri State at 4 p.m.
