Crash Injures Two Drivers, Traps One

Tulsa Police say two people were hurt when an SUV drifted into oncoming traffic on North Peoria Avenue Sunday night.Emergency crews arrived on scene at 33rd Street shortly after the crash happened at 11:30 p.m. A woman driving a sedan saw the SUV coming toward her and stopped to avoid it, but was hit anyway, according to police.Both drivers were unconscious and the woman in the sedan was trapped after the impact. Tulsa firefighters had to cut the door off the car to get her out.Paramedics on the scene say both drivers had head injuries, but are expected to recover.There's no word on why the SUV swerved into oncoming traffic.
