Two Arrested After Pipe Bomb Discovered in Broken Arrow

      Authorities gathered in Broken Arrow neighborhood Wednesday morning after being notified that a pipe bomb had been discovered.

      Initial details state that the Broken Arrow Police Department was notified sometime before 7 a.m. about a robbery incident. This was in the area near Houston and Aspen in Broken Arrow.

      Officers told KTUL that an individual had been attempting to steal a motorcycle when a neighbor called 911. Officers arrived on scene and began a search of the suspect's vehicle that turned up the pipe bomb.

      The Tulsa Bomb Squad was called to the area to assist in the investigation. Crews removed the bomb from the vehicle and detonated using special equipment.

      Officials added that crews began a search for additional explosives, but did not believe there were anymore. A man and a woman are being questioned for their alleged involvement in the incident.

      No injuries were reported. Officers were able to clear the neighborhood of any danger.
