Crews Transform BOK Center for PBR

PBR crews{}are working{}to transform the BOK Center into a bull riding arena for a PBR event this weekend. They began moving into the space Thursday morning and anticipate they will continue setting up until just before the event at 8 p.m. Friday.

35 bull riders from several countries will compete this Friday and Saturday. Three of them are from Oklahoma. There will be between 50 and 55 bulls brought in.

"The{}PBR is where it's at," said professional bull rider, Ryan Dirteater. "It's like the NFL of our sport, of bull riding. Every bull rider wants to be at this level of competition."

This will be the eighth year Tulsa has hosted a PBR event.

Crews told Channel 8 setting up in the BOK Center is relatively easy compared to other venues.

The competition begins Friday night at 8. The second round of competition begins Saturday night at 7. Organizers said tickets for Saturday are selling out quickly.
