City crews are working to repair a water line that has ruptured early Friday morning.
Residents called in the water line break to the City of Tulsa just before 7:30 a.m. This was at 57th and Sheridan.
When crews arrived they discovered that a 12 inch line had broken in the street. At the time of the rupture water was freezing due to the temperature outside causing some issues for traffic.
City officials state that the line was closed off just after 9 a.m. and expect it to be repaired this afternoon.
At this time only four residents are without water and no businesses. This is also the only water main break city crews are working to repair.
