Robbery detectives within the Tulsa Police Department are asking for help identifying a man with gauze wrapped around his head and hands who robbed IBC Bank Friday afternoon.
The bank is located at 1901 South Yale Avenue. The suspect reportedly waited until he was able to get into a closed office with a bank employee before he demanded money and said he had a bomb.
The suspect was taken into the lobby where he was given money, police say. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect was described as a white or hispanic male, with dark hair, brown eyes, approximately 5'6" with a slender to medium build and possible goatee. During the robbery, the suspect was wearing a light blue long sleeve button-up shirt, dark pants and dress shoes.
He was last seen walking south toward 21st Street with a dark portfolio in his left hand.
