Today is expected to be one of the the biggest days of giving in Tulsa's history.
Governor Mary Fallin will be among those at ONEOK Field in downtown Tulsa serving 10,000 bags of groceries to Tulsa families.
The serving will a part of Guts Church Friday Groceries outreach, which takes place every Friday at the Guts Church distribution centers in Tulsa and Skiatook and provides groceries to families.
Fallin will team up with Joyce Meyer Ministries, mayor Dewey Bartlett and congressman Jim Bridenstine, among others, in the donation event.
These services will be provided in addition to the grocery bags:
-1,000 bikes and shoes to children
-free medical and dental services
The event starts at 10 a.m. Friday.
