A motorcyclist died Friday evening after a wreck in east Tulsa.
Few details were made available about the wreck, but it happened after 8 p.m. in the 1000 block of 129th East Avenue.
Officials with the Tulsa Police Department stated that the unidentified male motorcyclist was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when he attempted to stop. He proceed to hit the center media and was then ejected from his vehicle.
Emergency paramedics announced he was dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
No other injuries were reported in the area at the time of the incident.
