      Fire Command: Situation Improving In Creek County

      Crews staged near Drumright tell KTUL.com{}things are finally calming down in wildfire-ravaged Creek County.

      Firefighters are only dealing with hot spots and small flare ups.Our cameras were there as highway workers changed the speed limit on Highway 33 near Highway 48 in Creek County. The limit has dropped from 65 to 45 miles per hour.{}They said it's a temporary measure to keep drivers and emergency crews safe. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is keeping checkpoints in place near Mannford & Drumright to prevent looting from burned homes and unguarded property.
