Fire Crews Keep Damage to One Unit at East Tulsa Apartment Complex
Crews were on the scene Monday morning at an apartment fire in east Tulsa.
Tulsa Fire Department responded around 10:30 a.m. to the area of 41st and 129th East Avenue in reference to the Stonecrest Apartment Complex. At the scene flames were reportedly visibly showing.
TFD's Stan May told KTUL that two occupants were affected in Monday mornings blaze. He added that the fire was contained to the downstairs apartment while the unit above it received minor damage.
Only one occupant was displaced and no injuries were reported during the fire attack. No information was available at this time determining the cause of the fire.
May added that this week is Fire Prevention Week. Residents should head typical warnings to avoid similar situations similar to Monday's fire.
