State forestry officials say burn bans have been lifted across all of eastern Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Forestry Services burn ban information page shows only one county with a burn ban in place. The lone hold-out is Cimmaron County in the western end of Oklahoma's panhandle.
Much of Green Country was under state and county imposed bans during the summer months.
However, the area is still in need of rain. The U.S. Drought Monitor shows extreme or severe drought conditions exist across the entire state.
