Fire Weather Alert Issued For Eastern Oklahoma

A fire weather alert has been issued for much of eastern Oklahoma through 9 p.m. Tuesday night.It comes as several fires have been reported across the state, including two massive fires in the Tulsa area that destroyed homes and caused evacuations.A very high fire danger will persist across the area.The counties in Oklahoma under the fire weather alert include: Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner, and Washington.
