Five people were injured, one critically, after the SUV they were driving in rolled over, late Saturday Night.
It happened just before Eleven O'Clock near the intersection of Highway 169 and 61st Street South.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Clint Roberts tells KTUL.com, prior to the crash, several witnesses spotted the SUV speeding and darting in and out of Westbound traffic on 61st Street. Roberts says the SUV then clipped another vehicle, running it off the road, the SUV then flipped over onto its top and ejected one of the occupants.
Sergeant Roberts says all five of the SUV's occupants were transported by EMSA to area hospitals. One was said to be in critical condition. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
Police do not know whether alcohol played a role in the crash or not. However, officers did discover several empty beer cans at the scene.
Charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
