Multiple reports came into the station about flooding in the Muskogee County area, Monday evening.

The water was reportedly standing at two feet high and displaced seven families.

The Red Cross initially opened a shelter in Warner, OK to help the families, but the apartment manager took care of each family and put them in motel rooms.

Since the shelter was no longer needed, the Red Cross did close it for the night.

The water covered the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery and traffic was impacted.
