Former Commerce Coach Accused of Rape Turns Himself In

The former Commerce Coach accused of rape has turned himself in after missing a court appearance.

Thomas Fenderson, 43, was scheduled for an arraignment but did not show prompting a manhunt yesterday.

Police confirm today that he has turned himself in.

Fenderson had been with the Commerce school district for seven years and resigned two weeks ago on the day the principal contacted police, informing them of allegations that Fenderson had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student.
