Fort Gibson Woman Arrested for Death of Two-Week-Old Infant
Authorities in Wagoner County arrested a Fort Gibson woman earlier this week for her alleged role in the death of her infant daughter.
Deputies with the Wagoner County Sheriff's Department placed Christina Marie Hall under arrest Tuesday afternoon. Her arrest happened after they were called out to her residence in Fort Gibson.
Preliminary reports indicate that deputies arrived and found that the two-week-old child was not responsive. Emergency crews transported the child, but were not able to save her.
Officials told KTUL that at this time it is believed that Hall was in bed with the child when she rolled over and suffocated her. She now faces manslaughter charges with the possibility of additional charges.
Hall is now being held at the Wagoner County Jail for $150,000 bond. Officials will continue the investigation this week.
