Four Families Displaced After South Tulsa Apartment Fire
A fire at an apartment complex displaced four families Wednesday morning near 64th and Peoria.
Crews were dispatched to the apartments before 9 a.m. after receiving reports that flames and smoke were visible from the neighborhood.
Firefighters arrived on scene and put the fire out that quickly spread up the roof. It left the four apartments heavily damaged.
Investigators stated that the cause of the fire is unknown at this time but that it started in the kitchen. No injuries were reported during the blaze.
Officials told KTUL that the families will be placed in different apartments elsewhere in the complex.
