Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in midtown for one of Tulsa's most well-known philanthropists.
Friends and family of Henry Zarrow gathered at the B'nai Emunah synagogue near 15th and Peoria. After the service attendees moved to the Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery where he was buried.
Zarrow died last weekend at the age of 97. Some of his accomplishments include serving on the Board of Saint Francis Hospital for over 45 years as well as on the Board of Trustees for the University of Tulsa, Salvation Army, the Child Abuse Network and the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence, among many others.
He is survived by his two children, Stuart Zarrow and Judy Kishner, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
