Authorities in Creek County are at the scene of a gas pipeline explosion that began Monday morning.
Initial reports state that the explosion took place around 11 a.m. when residents reported flames and smoke. This was south of Milfay in Creek County.
A spokesperson with the Creek County Sheriff's Office told KTUL that the pipeline belongs to ONEOK. Their crews have shut off the gas to the line are now waiting for the gas in the air to burn out.
No injuries or other fires were reported in the area near the explosion. Bristow Fire Department remains on scene.
