Golden Eagles Punch Ticket To The Ladies Big Dance

The ORU Golden Eagles are in the Women's NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2008 after winning the Southland Conference Tournament last Saturday. Monday evening they found out they will be a 15th-seed in the Oklahoma City Region and will face #2-seed Tennessee in Knoxville. Oral Roberts and Tennessee will tip-off at 12:20pm on Saturday.This will mark the sixth time the Golden Eagles made the NCAA Tourney. ORU advanced to the Big Dance in 1999, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2013. The last time Oral Roberts was in the tournament they lost to the Lady Vols 94-55 in West Lafayette, IN in the 2008 NCAA Tournament.
