Google Spending $7 Million To Stop Child Porn

Google is ramping up efforts to fight child pornography.

The tech giant is spending $5 million to wipe out pictures of child sex abuse from the web.

      It's a growing problem.

More than 17 million images and videos of suspected child abuse were reported in 2011.

That's four times the amount reported just four years earlier.

Part of the money will go to child-protection groups that are already working on solutions.

Google will spend another $2 million to research ways to find, report, and erase child porn images.
