Green Country Residents Deciding on School Bonds, Sales Taxes

Voters across several Green Country communities are headed to the polls Tuesday.

Here in Tulsa County residents are voting in Sand Springs, Owasso and Berryhill.

According to information from the Berryhill Public Schools website, a bond issue is being decided on Tuesday. $470,000 will be voted on for new textbooks and technology upgrades.

Residents in Owasso and Sand Springs are deciding on several city council races. In Owasso, Ward 3 and 4 are being voted on while Sand Springs will decide on Ward 4.

Polling places are open in Pittsburg, LeFlore, Cherokee and Sequoyah counties. Decisions will be made on issues ranging from school bonds to sales tax extensions.
