An 11-year-old Grove boy was killed over the weekend while riding an all-terrain vehicle.
Authorities in Noel, Missouri were called out after a receiving word that three children had been thrown off the ATV Sunday afternoon.
Officials told KTUL that the boy, identified as Tanner Quinn, had been riding on the ATV with his two sisters when it flipped on top of them as they were going up a hill. The two other girls were not injured during the accident.
Emergency paramedics transported Quinn to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. None of the children were wearing helmets when they were on the ATV.
Quinn was a student at the Grove Upper Elementary School, according to a report from the Grove Sun. Funeral services are pending.
