Gun Rights Group Offers Free Gun Classes For Teachers
A gun rights group is offering free handgun training courses for Oklahoma teachers and school personnel.
OK2A is a pro-2nd Amendment group that has been lobbying the Oklahoma Legislature in recent years to expand gun rights and was an active supporter of the open carry bill approved by lawmakers last year.
The group is funding two separator courses of 25 students each, one in Tulsa and one in Oklahoma City on Saturday, February 9th.
You can sign up on the group's website www.ok2a.org.
A lottery system will be used to select the participants if they have more than 50 people sign up.
The courses are free, but participants will have to pay for their own handgun license fee.
