Halloween Weather

With Halloween fast approaching, it's time to finish up your Halloween costumes and get ready for trick or treating this weekend. However, what will the weather be like for trick or treating this year? For the past 4 years. the Tulsa metro area has not had rain ruin any Halloween trick or treating plans. The last time it rained on Halloween was in 2005 when it was recorded that 0.30" of rain fell. The year before that, it rained 0.81" of rain on Halloween.

During the past few years, Green Country has experienced relatively warm Halloweens with temperatures in the low 70s in 2009 and 2007. In 2008, a high temperature of 80 degrees was recorded. Out of the past 7 years, the coldest Halloween was 58 degrees. Most years, temperatures were in the mid 60s.

Like recent years in the past, I do not expect any rain on Halloween. I also expect temperatures to be above normal for this time of year with daytime temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and mild evening temperatures.

So finish up those costumes and don't eat too much candy. Happy Halloween!
