There is a good chance for showers and thunderstorms on Monday.
Tulsa is nearly 4.5" below normal on rainfall for the year and it looks like we may cut that down an inch or two after the rain ends mid-day Tuesday.
Far Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas has the potential for flash flooding. Most areas will pick up between .5" and 1.5" of rainfall, with locally higher amounts possible.
May is typically our wettest month of the year, so this will be very beneficial to the area. After mid-week, dry weather looks to return for the an extended period.
Also, an extended period of cooler weather is likely with highs in the 70s and lows in the 40s and 50s for much of the week.
